The Sierra Nevada Límite MTB RACE is the mountain bike race that runs through the most imposing and beautiful landscapes around the Sierra Nevada.
The SNL MTB RACE will have two distances, Marathon and Half Marathon, for different levels on Saturday 12th July with start in Pinos Genil and finish in Cenes de la Vega.
The SNL MTB RACE Marathon has a distance of 75 kms and 2716m+. The Medium race has a distance of 42 kms and 1674m+.
Participation for the SNL MTB RACE will be limited to 600 participants between the two modalities.
We will soon reveal all the technical information about the routes.

SNL MTB RACE MARATHON
The route of the SNL MTB RACE Marathon starts at 8:00 am from the town of Pinos Genil and ends in Cenes de la Vega.
The municipalities of passage are: Pinos Genil - Dúdar - Beas de Granada - Tocón de Quéntar - Güejar Sierra - Dúdar - Cenes de la Vega
The route runs mainly along paths, lanes and tracks. After leaving Pinos Genil, we start a very demanding climb on a wide road until we reach the top of the hill and then start a steep descent on a wide road until we reach Dúdar. After crossing Dúdar we start the climb to the quarries, a long and demanding but not very technical climb. After the steep climb, we will start a downhill section on very enjoyable trails that will take us to the source of the Aguas Blanca river. From there, we will start a long and straightforward climb along a track to the Alto de Blancares. Once we have reached the top of the Alto de Blancares, we descend along paths to Tocón de Quéntar. At this point we will start a long climb on tracks that will take us to the beginning of the great final climb, the Collado del Alguacil. This climb starts on a track and then becomes tarmac for the last 3 km before reaching the top. After reaching the top of the Collado del Alguacil, we descend along a path with some short, somewhat more technical sections until we reach Güejar Sierra. After crossing Güejar Sierra we face the last 20 kms on roads with demanding climbs and descents to Dúdar, from there we will face the final very demanding climb before facing the last descent to Cenes de la Vega where the finish line is located.
Finsiher medals will be awarded at the finish line in Cenes de la Vega and there will be a refreshment point at the finish line and the showers.

SNL MTB RACE HALF MARATHON
The route of the SNL MTB RACE Half Marathon starts at 8:30h from the town of Pinos Genil and ends in Cenes de la Vega.
The municipalities of passage are: Pinos Genil - Dúdar - Quéntar - Dúdar - Cenes de la Vega
The route runs mainly along paths, lanes and tracks. After leaving Pinos Genil, we start a very demanding climb on a wide road until we reach the top of the hill and then start a steep descent on a wide road until we reach Dúdar. After crossing Dúdar we start the climb to the quarries, a long and demanding but not very technical climb. Before reaching the quarries, we turn right to go down a path to Quéntar. From there, we will start a long and straight climb on a track before descending to Dúdar, from there we will face the final very demanding climb before facing the last descent to Cenes de la Vega where the finish line is located.
At the finish line in Cenes de la Vega the Finsiher medals will be awarded and there will be refreshments and showers.
This distance will also be available for E-Bike in NON COMPETITIVE category. The E-Bikes will start at the end of the drawer after the MTB.
