The fact of registering shows the participant&#8217;s conformity with these regulations. <\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The present regulations will be of strict compliance for all participants of the SIERRA NEVADA L\u00cdMITE event. Any incident not included in it will be resolved by the SIERRA NEVADA LIMIT Jury, the Sports Director of the event, a Member of the Organization and a Representative of the Runners. <strong>SNL GRAN FONDO<\/strong> and <strong>SNL SUBIDA AL VELETA<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p><p class=\"font_8 wixui-rich-text__text\"><span class=\"wixui-rich-text__text\">The SIERRA NEVADA L\u00cdMITE is a cyclodepotive test as defined by the DGT in Instruction 18\/TV-101, Annex III.2.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>SNL GRAN FONDO<\/strong><\/span><\/p><p class=\"font_8 wixui-rich-text__text\"><span class=\"wixui-rich-text__text\">The SNL GRAN FONDO has a distance of <strong>140km &#8211; 3200m+<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p><p class=\"font_8 wixui-rich-text__text\"><span class=\"wixui-rich-text__text\">The SNL GRAN FONDO will be held on Saturday, <span class=\"color_37 wixui-rich-text__text\">May 23rd, 2026<\/span> from 08:00 hours. The start and finish line will take place in Pradollano, Sierra Nevada. <\/span><\/p><p class=\"font_8 wixui-rich-text__text\"><span class=\"wixui-rich-text__text\">The finish line will close for participants at 17:00 hours.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>SNL SUBIDA AL VELETA<\/strong><\/span><\/p><p class=\"font_8 wixui-rich-text__text\"><span class=\"color_37 wixui-rich-text__text\"><span class=\"wixui-rich-text__text\"><\/span><span class=\"color_37 wixui-rich-text__text\"><span class=\"wixui-rich-text__text\">The SNL SUBIDA AL VELETA has a distance of 38k.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p><p class=\"font_8 wixui-rich-text__text\"><span class=\"color_37 wixui-rich-text__text\"><span class=\"wixui-rich-text__text\">The SNL SUBIDA AL VELETA will be held on SUNDAY, May 24, 2026 from 08:00 hours. The start will take place in the town of Cenes de la Vega and the finish line in the positions of Pico Veleta. <\/span><\/span><\/p><p class=\"font_8 wixui-rich-text__text\"><span class=\"color_37 wixui-rich-text__text\"><span class=\"wixui-rich-text__text\">The closing of the finish line for participants will be at 13:00 hours of the same.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-7cacef3 e-flex e-con-boxed e-con e-parent\" data-id=\"7cacef3\" data-element_type=\"container\" data-e-type=\"container\" data-settings=\"{&quot;background_background&quot;:&quot;classic&quot;}\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"e-con-inner\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-fbd7b1c elementor-widget__width-inherit elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"fbd7b1c\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">Art.3 SPORTS BEHAVIOUR AND RESPECT FOR THE ENVIRONMENT <\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-b93eba7 elementor-widget__width-inherit elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"b93eba7\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The SIERRA NEVADA L\u00cdMITE is held with absolute respect for the environment.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Participants must respect the environment in which the event takes place and keep the surroundings clean. To this end, they must eat and drink WITHOUT LEAVING ANY CONTAINERS OUTSIDE THE CONTAINERS provided for this purpose.  <\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">FAILURE TO COMPLY WITH THIS POINT WILL RESULT IN THE IMMEDIATE DISQUALIFICATION OF THE RUNNER, who may be disqualified by a simple statement from any member of the Race Organizing Team. <\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Will be disqualified from the competition, participants who show violent attitudes or throw garbage in nature. It is mandatory to respect crops, livestock and private property in general. <\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Participants will be responsible for any damage caused as a result of this type of behavior.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It is strictly forbidden to receive external assistance or refreshments during the race outside the points provided by the Organization: these will coincide with the official refreshment points of the race.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-22ba74c e-flex e-con-boxed e-con e-parent\" data-id=\"22ba74c\" data-element_type=\"container\" data-e-type=\"container\" data-settings=\"{&quot;background_background&quot;:&quot;classic&quot;}\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"e-con-inner\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-20d812c elementor-widget__width-inherit elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"20d812c\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">Art.4 PARTICIPATION AND REGISTRATION <\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-1c6e57d elementor-widget__width-inherit elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"1c6e57d\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p class=\"font_8 wixui-rich-text__text\"><span class=\"wixui-rich-text__text\">Participation will be open to all those who correctly formalize both the REGISTRATION and the payment stipulated for the races. <\/span><\/p><p>The SNL SUBIDA AL VELETA is open to road, MTB and gravel bicycles.<\/p><p class=\"font_8 wixui-rich-text__text\"><span class=\"wixui-rich-text__text\">The registration fee for the SIERRA NEVADA L\u00cdMITE will be governed according to the payment terms established in the <a class=\"wixui-rich-text__text\" href=\"https:\/\/www.sierranevadalimite.com\/inscripciones\" target=\"_self\">registration<\/a> page.<\/span><\/p><p class=\"font_8 wixui-rich-text__text\"><span class=\"wixui-rich-text__text\">\u200b<\/span><span class=\"wixui-rich-text__text\">The registration to the SIERRA NEVADA L\u00cdMITE implies the acceptance of the rules and the adequate preparation of the participant for the race, being aware of the geographical and meteorological conditions that can be found in the environment where the event takes place. In this sense, the participant exempts the Organization of possible health problems that may arise from their participation in the SIERRA NEVADA L\u00cdMITE. <\/span><\/p><p class=\"font_8 wixui-rich-text__text\"><span class=\"wixui-rich-text__text\">The <\/span><span class=\"wixui-rich-text__text\">runners registered for the race understand that they participate voluntarily and under itinerary of the race will be marked with signs and specific signage created for the race. The race route will be published on the official website of the race. Any change or modification will be made public by the same means.  <\/span><\/p><p class=\"font_8 wixui-rich-text__text\"><span class=\"wixui-rich-text__text\">Each participant must follow the entire marked route, without skipping the signs and passing through all the checkpoints.<\/span><\/p><p class=\"font_8 wixui-rich-text__text\"><span class=\"wixui-rich-text__text\">In addition to the fixed controls indicated on the official website, the Organization may place \u201csurprise\u201d controls of passage or material at any point along the route.<\/span><\/p><p class=\"font_8 wixui-rich-text__text\"><span class=\"wixui-rich-text__text\">Each<\/span> <span class=\"wixui-rich-text__text\">participant is obliged to attend to the requests and questions of any commissaire, doctor, nurse or person in charge of refreshments, whether at the stipulated checkpoints or at any other point along the course.<\/span><\/p><p class=\"font_8 wixui-rich-text__text\"><span class=\"wixui-rich-text__text\">\u200b<\/span><span class=\"wixui-rich-text__text\">It is strictly forbidden to receive external assistance or refreshments during the race outside the points provided by the Organization: these will coincide with the official refreshment points of the race. Likewise, it is forbidden to be accompanied by other people who are not registered participants in the race.<\/span><\/p><p class=\"font_8 wixui-rich-text__text\"><span class=\"wixui-rich-text__text\">At<\/span> <span class=\"wixui-rich-text__text\">each refreshment point there will be a specific closing time, being an indispensable requirement to pass before the established closing time in order to continue in the race.<\/span><\/p><p class=\"font_8 wixui-rich-text__text\"><span class=\"wixui-rich-text__text\">Each refreshment post will have food and beverages that will vary depending on the kilometer where it is located. This speed will be dynamic depending on whether the section is downhill or uphill, but will average approximately 25 km\/h so that the pace is dynamic and comfortable, without stops, until the start of the free section, the last 40 km, where there will be no speed limit. <\/p><p>All measures carried out by the GCT to control and guarantee the Safety Capsule to the greatest number of cyclists will be done dynamically and never with regrouping stops.<\/p><p><strong>Any participant who is overtaken by the green flag, will be out of the safety capsule and therefore, will run in <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">open traffic<\/span>, having to respect all the traffic rules under his responsibility.<\/strong> <\/p><p>After the green flag, there will be a vehicle of the organization informing all participants who are overtaken by the green flag that, from that moment, the traffic is open and that they have to circulate with the necessary caution and respecting the rules of traffic circulation. <\/p><p>Participants who remain outside the safety capsule will have their bibs marked with a sticker for their distinction. If due to an accident or injury the runner is immobilized and cannot reach a checkpoint, he\/she will activate the rescue operation by contacting the organization by telephone through the Emergency Mobile Phone number indicated on the race bib. <\/span><\/p><p class=\"font_8 wixui-rich-text__text\"><span class=\"wixui-rich-text__text\">Once at the refreshment post, the runner will communicate his desire to abandon the race to the person in charge of the refreshment post so that he can cancel his bib and identify him as having withdrawn.<\/span><\/p><p class=\"font_8 class=\"font_8 wixui-rich-text__text\"><span class=\"wixui-rich-text__text\">In case of bad weather conditions or force majeure, the Organization reserves the right to suspend, neutralize or modify the time slots and\/or the route of the race.<\/span><\/p><p class=\"font_8 wixui-rich-text__text\"><span class=\"wixui-rich-text__text\">In case of cancellation of the race due to force majeure and more than 7 days before the start date, a partial refund of the registration fee will be made according to the date of the cancellation and therefore of the expenses already incurred.<\/span><\/p><p class=\"font_8 wixui-rich-text__text\"><span class=\"wixui-rich-text__text\">In the event that such cancellation occurs during the 7 days prior to the start of the SIERRA NEVADA L\u00cdMITE and for reasons beyond the Organization&#8217;s control, or in case of suspension of the race once the start has taken place, no refund will be participants who:<\/span><\/p><p class=\"font_8 wixui-rich-text__text\"><span class=\"wixui-rich-text__text\">&#8211; Do not respect the highway code.<\/span><\/p><p class=\"font_8 wixui-rich-text__text\"><span class=\"wixui-rich-text__text\">&#8211; Do not respect the security instructions given by law enforcement and the Organization.<\/span><\/p><p class=\"font_8 wixui-rich-text__text\"><span class=\"wixui-rich-text__text\">&#8211; Do not pass through the starting checkpoint and other checkpoints along the route.<\/span><\/p><p class=\"font_8 wixui-rich-text__text\"><span class=\"wixui-rich-text__text\">&#8211; Dirty or degrade the itinerary by littering.<\/span><\/p><p class=\"font_8 wixui-rich-text__text\"><span class=\"wixui-rich-text__text\">&#8211; Have their own support vehicle, hindering the progress of the rest.<\/span><\/p><p class=\"font_8 wixui-rich-text__text\"><span class=\"wixui-rich-text__text\">&#8211; Behavior that impedes the normal development of the race and that goes against the present regulations.<\/span><\/p><p class=\"font_8 wixui-rich-text__text\"><span class=\"wixui-rich-text__text\">Members of law enforcement and the Organization will take note of those who engage in any of the behaviors listed above.<\/span><\/p><p class=\"font_8 wixui-rich-text__text\"><span class=\"wixui-rich-text__text\">The organization acquires the commitment before the rest of the participants and the authorities to sanction them in an effective manner. <\/span><\/p><p class=\"font_8 wixui-rich-text__text\"><span class=\"wixui-rich-text__text\"> The penalty will be:<\/span><\/p><ul class=\"font_8 wixui-rich-text__text\"><li class=\"wixui-rich-text__text\"><p class=\"font_8 wixui-rich-text__text\"><span class=\"wixui-rich-text__text\">Disqualification from the test.<\/span><\/p><\/li><li class=\"wixui-rich-text__text\"><p class=\"font_8 wixui-rich-text__text\"><span class=\"wixui-rich-text__text\">Inclusion in lists of sanctioned participants, for subsequent publication.<\/span><\/p><\/li><li class=\"wixui-rich-text__text\"><p class=\"font_8 wixui-rich-text__text\"><span class=\"wixui-rich-text__text\">Prohibition to participate in other editions of the race.<\/span><\/p><\/li><li class=\"wixui-rich-text__text\"><p class=\"font_8 wixui-rich-text__text\"><span class=\"wixui-rich-text__text\">Sanctions imposed by the authorities, to which he\/she may be entitled due to his\/her attitude.<\/span><\/p><\/li><\/ul>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-ee15a95 e-flex e-con-boxed e-con of the participants during the celebration of the race. <\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In case of abandonment by the participant, the organization is not responsible for any damage that the bicycle may suffer during the transfer to the established cut-off point, the participant supervising the fastening to the broom vehicle by the operators.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The organization is not responsible for any accident that could be the cause or victim of the participant, which must be covered by the insurance of the license itself. In case of not having a license, all participants must process the day license provided by the Andalusian Cycling Federation. <\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In the event of an accident, call the emergency telephone number on the front panel. Any media or advertising project must first have the express written consent of the organization. The recipients of these data are the entity itself. The participant is responsible for the veracity and correctness of the data provided and has the right to exercise their rights of access, rectification, cancellation and opposition of their data within the scope recognized by the Organic Law 15\/99 of December 13, 1999.
