The Sierra Nevada Límite GRAN FONDO is one of the most emblematic cycling races in the national calendar for many reasons, the main one being that it finishes in the Sierra Nevada Ski Resort at an altitude of 2100 metres.
With a spectacular route through the province of Granada, the Sierra Nevada Límite GRAN FONDO offers a unique cycling experience for all cycling enthusiasts.
TWO DISTANCES, ONE GOAL
The SNL-Gran Fondo 2025 will be held on 17 May 2025.
The route of the SNL-Gran Fondo 146km starts at 8:00 am from the town of Cenes de la Vega and finishes in Pradollano (Sierra Nevada, Monachil).
The municipalities of passage are: Cenes de la Vega - Granada - Huetor Vega - Monachil - Alto del Purche - Pinos Genil - Quéntar - Alto de Blancares - La Peza - Los Baños - Purullena - Lopera - La Peza - Alto de Blancares - Quéntar - Pinos Genil - La Sabinas - Pradollano (Sierra Nevada, Monachil).
Pradollano will be the end of the timed section of the race and will be where the finisher medals will be awarded.
Here we will also have refreshments and a cloakroom service with what you have handed in at the start.
Once recovered, the descent to the starting point (Cenes de la Vega) will be at the expense of each participant. It is 25km of continuous descent without pedalling.
In Cenes de la Vega we will find all the post-finish services: showers, food, etc.
The SNL-Gran Fondo 114 km route starts at 9:30h from the town of Cenes de la Vega heading towards the municipality of Quéntar to tackle the first pass of Los Blancares and finishes in Pradollano (Sierra Nevada, Monachil).
The municipalities of passage are: Cenes de la Vega - Quéntar - Alto de Blancares - La Peza - Los Baños - Purullena - Lopera - La Peza - Alto de Blancares - Quéntar - Pinos Genil - La Sabinas - Pradollano (Sierra Nevada, Monachil).
